I’ve been invited to share a bit about my artistic practice and how my experiences engaging with the maker community have led to new personal discoveries around intrinsic motivation, community building, deeper engagement with scientific concepts, and respect for textiles and the culture of textile making.
I’ll be speaking about my experiences engaging with “hand”, “heart”, and head” as an artistic practice. I believe this approach to creating has an impact on communities, education (both adult learning and kids), as well as environmentalism. I will cover these ideas in 7 minutes. Come listen to me speak and ask questions!
Thanks to Curiosity Collider for giving me the opportunity to share these ideas!
